Prepare one conversation properly

  1. Write the opening case

    Set out the issue, the evidence, your view, why it matters and the discussion you need.

  2. Share it beforehand

    Send the case before the meeting so the other person has time to consider it.

  3. Listen and record the next step

    Present your view, test your assumptions, hear their response and write down the decision or next action.
